We believe that clients need more from their environmental consultant today than good technical skills in order to reduce their environmental liabilities. Superior Quality

Our second philosophy is based directly on the lawsuits, penalties, and significant fines which can be brought against a client or its officers for environmental violations. When the potential costs are high, quality cannot be compromised. For example, in order to reduce an environmental liability effectively and efficiently for a hazardous waste site, a clear understanding and vision of the technical and non-technical aspects of the situation is necessary. Once the situation is well defined, understanding what portion, if any, of the situation poses a human or ecological risk is critical to determining whether remedial action is necessary. And finally, developing the appropriate remedial action plan, when this approach is warranted, is critical to reaching the remedial objectives, which further reduces the environmental liability. Clearly, superior quality is necessary in every portion of these project phases; errors could result in unnecessary or increased costs, ineffective remediation, or increased liability. Similarly, for other environmental projects such as due diligence assessments, regulatory compliance evaluations, or litigation support, the potential costs for poor quality can be equally as high. We believe that the provision of superior quality environmental consulting services is a necessity.
